James Wong

James' passion for dance ignited at Ngee Ann Polytechnic, where he trained in diverse styles such as Hip Hop, B-Boy, Contemporary, Pas De Deux and Acro Yoga. He is deeply inspired by creating choreographies and mentoring young dancers. Choreographing for various events and leading teams in various competitions over the years have enriched his experience and honed his skills.

To James, dancing embodies freedom, and achieving excellence requires unwavering commitment. Competing and joining dance companies have not only refined his abilities but also connected him with passionate, like-minded individuals. Currently, he is an apprentice with The Human Expression, Second Company. As a certified ContempFIT Instructor at SPACECUBOID under Aiden Tan's guidance, and while certifying as a Yoga instructor with Yoga Nation, he continues to grow and expand his expertise.

Four core values drive James' journey: Determination, Discipline, Perseverance, and Commitment. He firmly believes that dancing shapes one not only as an artist but also as a person. James is dedicated to instilling these principles in others, encouraging them to reach their fullest potential. He hopes to continue to inspire and uplift others through the transformative power of dance so that together, we can all achieve greatness.
